TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber said: “It’s absolutely right that NEST has signed up to these important principles. We need all equity investors to take their responsibilities as company owners seriously, and the UN principles set out a clear minimum standard. NEST is continuing to be a model of good practice for the stewardship of pension assets.”
The Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (PRI) is a network of international investors working together to put the six Principles for Responsible Investment into practice.
